About
This time zone converter tells you what time it is somewhere else when it is a given time where you are, or where the other person is. Pick a date and a time, choose the starting time zone, then add as many destination cities as you need: the result appears instantly, with the offset from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and a note whenever the date changes. The calculation accounts for daylight saving transitions, including times that do not exist or that happen twice. Everything is computed in your browser: no data is sent anywhere, and the tool keeps working offline once the page is installed.
How to use it
- Enter the date and time to convert, or press "Now".
- Pick the starting time zone from the list (for example America/New_York).
- Add the destination zones you care about with the "Add a destination zone" selector.
- Read the local time for each city, and remove the ones you no longer need.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a New York time to Paris time?
Choose America/New_York as the starting zone, enter the time and add Europe/Paris. The result shows the matching Paris time and accounts for daylight saving on both sides of the Atlantic.
What happens during a daylight saving change?
When clocks spring forward an hour disappears: the tool warns you and uses the next valid time. When clocks fall back an hour repeats: the tool warns you and uses its first occurrence.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Your browser does the calculation with the time zone data built into your device. Nothing is transmitted, and the tool works without a connection once installed.
What is UTC?
UTC is the world reference time, with no seasonal clock changes. Every time zone is expressed as an offset from it, for example UTC+01:00 for Paris in winter.
